Correct - those who have attended road handling courses would know this mantra

Slow in, fast out when taking a corner or bend

Fast in and never come out ;)
Need to control right foot when stepping on accelerator.
Slowly squeeze throttle from mid bend, and step more as steering straighten

Yes, one common mistake is actually braking during the bend - on wet and slippery roads, it can cause the car to skid

Brake before enter bend, n light brake intermittent (if needed) while navigate early part of bend.

Actually sill need to feel if there is traction

i m thinking of under driver seat or passenger/s
You should seriously consider this instead. I've had this installed under my bonnet covering my engine bay since I got my car 5 yrs ago. There are a few workshops that sell and install this. You can also go to the distributor Falcon Fire. They have a shopfront along Jalan Besar.

That's why the correct way is slow in and carry just enough speed without having to brake and then accelerate once the bend starts to straighten

In my younger days, I like to drive on the 99 bends with my manual car and use only engine brake to negotiate the bends without touching my brakes hahah

For his case, probably only counter steer plus quick reflexes can help if he was already fully committed into the corner

I keep it in my boot hahah

I can also put it below my car seat but it may slide out if I jam brake :(

Yah, that's why need the holder like shown in @bobo07 post but need to drill into the car floorboard to secure, so didn't want to do it.

The driver, Mr Kerk Teck Guan, and his passenger, Mr Ng Wei Liang, suffered multiple injuries and both died 1 1/2 hours later in hospital.
The accident happened between Lorongs 12 and 14 in Geylang, before the horrified eyes of their friends who were in two other cars behind them. The crash also drew a large crowd to the scene.
The group of friends had gone to Geylang for supper earlier that night.
The dead men were both 26 and had been friends for more than 14 years.
Mr Ng, a sales executive at Courts, owned a car of the same model which had been involved in an accident along the Pan-Island Expressway three weeks ago. The car is now in the workshop.
He was lucky not to have been hurt then, when the car spun
, said his grieving widow Angeline Ang, 26, last night. The couple were married for five years and have a five-year-old daughter.

Wah this one is final destination. He siamed the first time but cannot siam the second time, destined to die in a Subaru WRX :o
