Next month sir.I have turned 45 on the 12th, and the allocation to OA is still 0.5677

Next month sir.I have turned 45 on the 12th, and the allocation to OA is still 0.5677
It probably goes by the day the instruction is issued as opposed to the day it is credited..I thought the contribution made after the day I turned 45 should be in different tier
Thanks
As long as hit FRS plus working plus yearly medisave topup, no need to pay cash since MA flows to OA monthly and the annual interest for OA would be above $20k after monthly HDB loan repayment of $700
Birthday on 12th, CPF credits on 18thbased on your birthday when the $ is allocated. If you BDay is 18th March, if CPF credits your account on 18th March, it will be new allocation, if CPF credit your account on17th March then is old allocation.
Peace...
Bro, you 45 next year in 2025, so follow "Above 35 to 45"![]()
I am turning 45 next year, so my OA allocation is it 0.5677 or 0.5136?
Yeah, we clear loan by 45.Don't loan till 65.. After 55 you might need to pay cash for housing loan...
LOL same.... By 46.....Yeah, we clear loan by 45.
Still blurBro, you 45 next year in 2025, so follow "Above 35 to 45"
My time I think FRS should be 280k to 300k.. Haiz...I thought the contribution made after the day I turned 45 should be in different tier
Thanks

how about clear by before 55?LOL same.... By 46.....
That's why i said before 55... Coz cpf contributions will drop to 9% only...how about clear by before 55?
Yeah, we clear loan by 45.
Like you said, it's a matter of choiceLOL same.... By 46.....
Used to worry about that because I didn't know anything about how CPF works though I know a bit more nowThat's why i said before 55... Coz cpf contributions will drop to 9% only...

I think your CPF contribution on 18th March was based on your working month in February 2025 which was before your birthday, thus CPFB applied 0.5677 for your OA.Birthday on 12th, CPF credits on 18th
After birthday is above 45![]()

Why tag moi Bro 1982-1994?I earn below median pay of $5200,
Not intending to pledge with my flat
I topped $40k to meet BRS then $20k to meet BHS (both done three years back) in order to have the contribution of MA to be allocated to SA monthly
Been topping medisave to hit BHS every year since then ($3k+$3500+$4k) , then another $20k into SA two years back, on the way to FRS in 2029
Pumped $90k cash so far and may not do it anymore
Of course those who are earning more have no problem hitting FRS in their 30s, with the exception case of the heng heng gambler @crimsontactics
Like you said, it's a matter of choice
I can clear loan by 45 too but only for a $200k 3r BTO flat
Used to worry about that because I didn't know anything about how CPF works though I know a bit more now
Won't complainIs a choice and commitment... Don't 55 kbkp this high that high and need to pay cash for instalments... Coz one is hdb policy and the other one is cpf policy.
Now at prime location ? Nice.Won't complain
Worst case, upsize to a 4r at standard location
That's why i said before 55... Coz cpf contributions will drop to 9% only...
