F&b is over crowded and consumers are no longer loyal and keep want to try something new, then hop to another one

I believe that alot of foreigners especially amdk really left. Even the master race seems lesser these days.

But the population increased which contradicts the scenario.

Probably alot of those high flyers left and replaced by jhk who took up PR.

Due to high cost of living, the spending power reduce. It's not entirely due to rental increase, the average folks simply spend less.

Holland Village is a HDB neighbourhood centre. It can't sustain too many drinking holes.

don’t worry — demand and supply will sort it out.
rentals will eventually drop to a more sustainable level, bah.

same like how some bbfas complain hawker food is too expensive — just let them toh lor. if people still queue and buy, then the pricing strategy is working, simple as that!

true. onces they realize rent high then they have to lower. just take some time
