Think the building looks like house of sticks from the look outside. Pillars so thin. Fall until so 干脆. Like textbook demolition. Fall inward on itself. Don't even need a demolition team to plan it out that swee. :s22:
How many incomplete buildings in bkk and only this fall to group ?

Myanmar where got land locked? And they have one major fault line running the length of the country.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sagaing_Fault
Its squeeze between two pieces of land. Thought its just a flat land. But like that see the pic, looks like the land purposely folded 180 to create a folded strip with the edge become centre as fault line. Like that MM look like F'k siah. Whole stretch the land under stress.

For those interested in seismologist comments. Got a lot compiled here

expert reaction to Myanmar earthquake

Scientists comment on a 7.7 magnitude earthquake that has hit central Myanmar.

Dr Roberto Gentile, Assistant Professor in Catastrophe Risk Modelling, University College London (UCL), said:

“The dramatic collapse of a tall building under construction in Bangkok requires particular attention, considering that Bangkok is nearly 1000km away from Mandalay. Constructing on deep, very soft-soils and/or a “basin effect” of the underlying geological features may be potential causes of ground-motion amplification experienced by tall buildings. These conditions are well documented for Bangkok, and therefore I assume that other tall buildings in the city may require a thorough assessment.”
So means in bbk, there are some 'soft soil' areas which are more vulnerable than other parts of bbk?

Is the whole bbk 'soft soil' or only some parts
