This person confirmed never experienced earthquake before. Does she know how scary it is to stay in swaying building? We all know Japanese buildings can withstand earthquake but we can't say the same for other countries.

The point is, nobody can make it out on time if the building does collapse. My Taiwanese colleagues said there is no way to predict how the building will break up. Sometimes it’s broken off at the upper portion, and the people at the lower floors are fine. Sometimes the building collapsed like the BKK one. Then those at the lower floors are unlikely to survive.

It's good advice but really Captain Hindsight horse back cannon.

Majority of tourist and Thai people have never experienced earthquake before. If it were me, I would have made my way down the stairs instead of staying under table.

that’s why is easier to comment at home comfort and slowly analyze. :s13:

She said she stayed in Taiwan. Prolly briefed this way and it's similar to the SOP recommended around the world. Scared then follow the experts who have analysed the best chance of survival. You have proof that your method is safer?

Why so coincident, all the youtubers go bangkok at the same time?

really huat for them... can milk from this earthquake make videos about it..

There are hundreds of thousands of YouTubers in this world, nothing strange for a couple of them to be there, which is a popular tourist destination? Probably will be the same thing if it happened in Taiwan

I would also try to run out of the building if I could. Only in Japan will the buildings not collapse, but not in Taiwan or elsewhere. Stay underneath the table is to avoid falling objects hitting your head. But if building collapses, and you are trapped inside, it’s gg liao

Errr.... unless it is war, earthquake, water contamination, I don't think it is necessary.
