Just to add that when my transfers were blocked, rather than waiting for a member of HSBC fraud team to call to verify the transfers were legit (which could be 1 business day according to their email/SMS/app notification), I called the CS hotline instead.
If the fraud team has updated the blocked transfers on the system, then CS will be able to help to verify the transfers and update the fraud team to release the block. This is a lot faster than waiting for the fraud team to call. Hope this helps.
