For ip16, apple store and challenger are selling at 1299 and 1097 (member) respectively. Is there a catch?

$200 is alot. I wonder how many ppl know this hack ma
Outside apple sellers are always cheaper than apple store. Buying from apple store mean you still have 14 days to return which is not the case for iphones selling outside of apple store. You are subject to their own term and conditions instead of Apple and most do not entertain 14 days return.

Example, iphone 16 is selling for S$1299 in apple store and the same iphone is selling for S$1008 in mistermobile shop.

Then you have to decide which to get. This is not even a hack.

I think it's the 14-day return policy that makes the difference. For me, an Android user, wants to try the iPhone if it really suits me, the 14-day return policy excites me. I can try first without burning huge money, I benefited from this from my MacBook Air purchase, returned and bought MacBook Pro instead. Same for iPhone 15, I returned the phone after trying out and found that it doesn't suits me.

You can buy from Apple Store and use and return it within 14 days... then get from the retail store if you wanna save the money.

i bought an ipad from shopee flagship apple store. volume buttons started malfunctioning - i took it to apple store in orchard. they replaced it with a brand new ipad no questions asked (it was still under the 1 year default warranty). so doesn't matter where you buy your apple product from. its warranty will still be honoured by the official store.

yes for sure. but the replacement i think is because is ipad or certain components they don't repair, just replace

Sometimes the price is worth paying, e.g., if you want to try a product.
but not for me, if try i go apple store to try. for apple products usually i normally wont even try, as i already used before the previous gen ones, so for me apple authorised reseller is still the way to go.
