Joking right
So many deliverers delivering so many junk
Take risk to steal like family pack size of toilet paper?

They always try their luck, like loot boxes hoping to get lucky, if your area don’t have thieves means very lucky

Sometimes it’s people follow the deliverer, once he left, they will auto steal
Ya, buy a PMD then install big basket. Every follow delivery guy behind like taking presents from Santa Claus.

If that brazen then police must take action

Like in US theft of mail is a federal offence

Is it high value item? If so very easy to get stolen

$20 after some discount... and got people follow deliverer? Dahell...

happened to me before few months back , another platform ...... big box but value less than $20 ..... whoever took it also cannot get much resale value
back and forth with CSO a few times and got refund

i suspect is premeditated because the photo proof is very closeup zhun zhun the box only , cannot see floor or door .... different style from usual
Chances are the delivery man didnt even send to your house to take photo

dun say lazada, i order food wana collect almost kena kope by a guy on motorbike. he was ready to run off with my food. knn. he tot kitchen staff not looking, heng i reach in time to stop the thief.
Walao even food also wanna steal...

Time to install security door cam!

I thought CCTV outside is illegal and abit hard to pull power line outside.... door cam tho those with rechargeable battery might be a good idea...

Not sure if anyone here kena before… had a delivery placed on doorstep stolen earlier this week…

What happened?

Recently a mini fan from Lazada, delivered via thie delivery service LEX. That day I just went down to the void deck for a short while to help my family carry some stuff. While I was gone, the delivery came. Got the photo proof — they left the item on the shoe rack outside my door. But when i return item 10 mins after item delivery time delivery item MIA...

Had contacted their customer service, they mentioned to contact their investigation team but never get back to me... i think chances are its gone case.... luckily item is just around $20...

I just wanna know if theres any good way to prevent this kind of issue especially if there no other safer delivery option?
where u stay? yishun? where strange things happen?

Now very common and hdb allow.
Buy those wifi with internal batteries no need run power cable. Once awhile low battery level take down charge it

I only fix the cam when i expect delivery in that day and remove cam once done

Illegal? Once something happened in my neighbourhood, police asked my neighbour for footage to help their investigation.

I see might be some misinformation from my family member...
I think i might get a portable CCTV as suggested...

Last time within 5 minutes after my delivery being placed outside (likely follow the delivery man), got someone appear outside my door surveying the surrounding and monitoring my closed door for almost 3 minutes until he saw the CCTV and retreat immediately.

I made an online report and submit the footage as informants (? can't remember already) and the police came down to take all the other Police CCTV footage from my block.
