If i am opposition it also make sense to slowly take one grc by one grc every election. And make solid of their foothold in the grc they already won like aljunied, sengkang, hougang. One by one more woon woon.

If they go all out to win as much as they could but then lose their homeground also no use right? Actually i already predicted PS and Slyvia will stay in Aljunied. It makes no sense if they go elsewhere and risk losing... end up losing their seats / leader of opposition title... no win at all. By staying in Aljunied, they might not gain another grc but at least a better chance to hold on to Aljunied.

Remember... oppositions in singapore are not big yet... it's not about winnning in numbers its about taking one more win every grc.

Marine Parade-BH grc in 2025 is very different from MP GRC in 2020. they absorbed macpherson smc which tpl is quite strong there, parts of potong pasir and mountbatten smc as well. then certain estates like chai chee and siglap were excluded. maybe based on ground sentiments, wp decided not to contest.

don't know tsl is suay or what. could have gotten a free ride and boast nobody dare to run against him. although cck is a safe grc but the voting % less than 2020 then very sia suay leh.
