The max 5c is confirm a steal at $2x.... The build quality is comparable to high end one... SQ is reasonable good also... I was shocked when I unbox and try them out.. LDAC support is a bonus.

However I dun use closed headphone especially those got ANC cause I wear specs.. There will be sound and ANC leakage near the temples. And the ears will sweat after long usage.. So I still use iem. But if I listen without glasses the ANC is pretty decent.

Current issue is after teams call somehow the mic is not used anymore for subsequent teams call, you need to disconnect and connect Bluetooth again

What I hope it will improve is to have multi device connection, for now I need to switch manually when connecting to my work laptop and handphone
ugreen studio pro has dual link. i can connect to my laptop and xiaomi handphone simultaneously

Got auto power off?
unlike sony xm5, it does not have wearing sensors, so the bluetooth connection is always maintained. however if you recharge it while on, it switches off automatically when fully charged

it has a 120hr playtime, so i am not sure if this feature serves any purpose other than to inflate costs

I use glasses and somehow ANC still good for me with music on 60-70% volume

And my colleagues don't complain about sound leaking

you need to push the ear buds deeper into the ear canals. and you will realize this cheap SBC ear bud rivals more expensive AAC ear buds. it's so small and light. i love it!
Yes but lows a bit lacking, the Baseus WM01 has got better bass but not good for runs.

This ugreen headphone looks interesting.

my search for good replacement headphones has ended. one of my kids has a sony wh-1000xm5 (foc). i tested it for over 30mins. the sound driver was hot and my ears felt uncomfortable wearing it for extended periods. sony sounded good but ugreen didn't have the hot driver issue, so it feels more pleasant. the ANC feature on ugreen has 3 options: 1. ambient sound 2. anc off 3. anc on. when ambient sound is on, you can hear your surrounding clearly. it further amplifies the sound giving you superpowers to eavesdrop on conversations. when anc is off, there is no amplification. and when anc is on, it shuts out noise as well as the sony

another advantage for those who broke their sony WH-1000xm5. the headband is made of metal (< 2 ohms resistance) and the ear cup connectors are made of thick plastic (1 MegaOhm) that allows the ear cup to fold inwards and turn sideways, so the risk of breakage is low

i ordered several of this headphones online for $54 each & all were given away after testing. equalizer and firmware updates are done via the ugreen home app

i needed something tiny that stays in the ear when running. tried headphones before. it won't stay and gets very oily and sweaty. you don't need the best codecs while running, because blood vessels pulsing in the ear is already quite loud. SBC codec from xiaomi buds 6 play is more than enough and drains very little power. it's perfect

Oh yes, very power friendly and it really stays in the ear even when sprinting.

They have lar.... but they are very new.. and they are just targeting functional.. doubt they are trying to aim for audiophile.. but this new one TS is recommending might be interesting, to be honest, I never seen a hybrid dual driver over the head headphone before... this came with 40mm main driver (they call it woofer) and 12mm tweeter, so in theory it should cover low and high end frequency pretty well but how well and detailed it is still depends on the quality of the drivers they used and the tuning.
hehe got many examples de :) like the 1 more triple driver headphones or the famous Bluedio ones :) me super happy with my multi driver Bluedio Victory and UFO plus/Pro wireless headphones :) will be sad once they uplorry.... but happy to see multi drivers ones like Kiwi ears Ardor and Ugreen Max 6 coming into play :) .....if can reach 1 more, Bluedio level will be great :)

Scarly end up like IEMs, got planar, got dynamic, got BA, got PZT etc....any type of multi drivers also can squeeze in :p
