It is one thing to address a question regarding that particular conflict when it is asked.
It is an entirely different thing to bring it up when not queried, then take a stand on it. Because one is then effectively giving each stranger in the audience a loaded gun and hoping that no one pulls their triggers.
True politicians will give an answer that is not an answer. Especially in this case. Because logic goes completely out of the window on this one.
If the folks actually living (and dying) there for over half a century, even with billions of dollars of international assistance, cannot figure out how to sort out the problem, how can we, as the tiniest of tiny dots thousands of kilometres away, actually expect to change anything with our opinions worth less than rocks on the floor?
