It is one thing to address a question regarding that particular conflict when it is asked.

It is an entirely different thing to bring it up when not queried, then take a stand on it. Because one is then effectively giving each stranger in the audience a loaded gun and hoping that no one pulls their triggers.

True politicians will give an answer that is not an answer. Especially in this case. Because logic goes completely out of the window on this one.

If the folks actually living (and dying) there for over half a century, even with billions of dollars of international assistance, cannot figure out how to sort out the problem, how can we, as the tiniest of tiny dots thousands of kilometres away, actually expect to change anything with our opinions worth less than rocks on the floor?

people MUST stop criticizing Ms Mattar UNLESS they have heard exactly what she has said

Her primary message was, WP will always be there for you if you need WP to speak up for you

the message linked to the primary message was about MOE conducting a sensitive course (words such as Hamas Palestine Israel appeared) without first getting consent from parents

many heard Hamas, Palestine, Israel in the linked message and straight away all come to various wrong conclusions without first listening to what she is saying

do not let IBs stir and stir and stir

I'm voting based on individual performance too..... Janil is not good..... ask around ..... unless you stay here too and he was great in your assessment.

A queue formed at One Punggol Hawker Centre as residents waited to meet WP newcomers Alexis Dang and Jackson Au.

“We’re so happy you’re here,” a resident told Ms Dang. “We’re so happy to be here,” she replied, thanking him for his support.

Ms Dang and Mr Au were seen speaking to families and taking photos with residents.

“Can we have a picture with you?” asked a seven-year-old girl. Ms Dang gladly agreed.

The girl’s mother, Ms Yap, in her 30s, said she has been “hoping for a strong opposition in Punggol for quite some time now”. Her family has lived in the area for 10 years.

A resident offered cold drinks to the WP candidates. “All the best and take care of yourselves,” he told them.

Meanwhile, PAP new faces in Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC - Ms Elysa Chen and Mr Cai Yinzhou - were on a walkabout at Block 92 Toa Payoh Lorong 4 and at the market in Lorong 7.

In Tampines GRC, Mr Zee Phay, who is part of the NSP team contesting the five-member constituency, was seen engaging residents during a walkabout at Tampines Mart.

This Janil was Malaysian. Never serve NS. Got a edmwer guy commented on his FB and this Janil immediately private his post or block him. Lol.

What’s with hammer leh?

DPM will be retiring soon, whether he win or lose. It doesn’t matter one. He same as HSK being parachute in. He will not be PM also. Just a title given. He wont commit wholeheartedly. The choice is clear.
