It is sad to see many young Singaporeans working as Grab drivers and food delivery riders.
I do not look down on them, but it makes me wonder why so few good jobs are left for our people.
Have any opposition parties raised this issue seriously?
They earn min 8k bro, they should look down on us.

Voting oppositions in will burn the country?
See, many sinkies like to complain and kpkb about our govt, about how life is getting more and more difficult but then they so timid and kiasi and scared/say opposition will make our country become a slum etc.. and then vote for pap in the end

Is like a wife with an abusive husband and always complain and kpkb that her husband keep physically assaulting and abusing her but in the end still stay together with him and worse, let him piak piak becos she says other man even worse

Now u know why I so disappointed and disgruntled with sinkies until I want PAP to win 100% seats and see timid sinkies kana tortured and suffer and then complain and kpkb even more...

When LHL and his team take-over from GCT ??

Continue to tax and voucher lover LW ??

Talk everything and wanted to win elections ?? Did citizen sense their sincerity, heart, love and conviction to country and citizen well-being ??

Now it is devastating and in denial everything is sweet and great ??

The young suffer; The middle age suffer; The old suffer ?

Really leave no man behind in suffering ?

perhaps you can share how do sinkies suffer?
almost everyone around me, seems to be doing well. Every year holiday, some stay condo, a few bought landed.

Sylvia has been a Member of Parliament from 2006 to 2025. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor in 1991. Sylvia Lim’s career spans across law, education, and politics. She began her professional journey as a police officer and litigation lawyer before transitioning to a 12-year tenure at Temasek Polytechnic as a lecturer and manager of continuing learning programmes. Sylvia is currently practising law, time permitting.

Sylvia holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from National University of Singapore and a Master of Laws degree from University College London. Apart from law, she also obtained in her working years a Master of Science (Criminal Justice) from Michigan State University and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Relations from Queen Mary University London.

Sylvia joined the Workers' Party (WP) in 2001 and was co-opted into the Executive Council. She has served as Party Chair since 2003. Sylvia was a Non-Constituency MP after the 2006 General Elections and was subsequently elected as MP for Aljunied GRC in the 2011, 2015, and 2020 General Elections. In her 19 years in Parliament, she has debated a wide range of issues, with a particular focus on governance, social inequality, and unequal bargaining power. She spearheaded a 2020 Motion on reforming the justice system to better serve the poor and argued for banks to compensate scam victims in 2023.

An elected member of the Aljunied-Hougang Town Council since 2011, Sylvia served as its first Chairman until 2015. She has been in charge of the Serangoon and later Paya Lebar divisions, where she initiated various outreach and welfare activities for residents, advocating for them both in Parliament and beyond.

Sylvia believes that fulfillment in life is measured by how one contributes to improving the lives of others. She feels that while jumping into the fray may be risky, remaining a passive bystander is far worse.

Sylvia advocates for reducing inequality in Singapore to foster social cohesion and preserve the dignity of every individual.

Why youngsters and young generation citizen cannot get first HDB BTO at younger age ?? What's happening to country ?

This affects marriages, tfr, familyhood, loan payments etc ?

Perhaps people are choosing not to settle down that early?
Not everyone wants to be tied down with a marriage early

Its not a SG exclusive problem, its the same worldwide.

i dont want kids because i want freedom in lifestyle choices

ya top wealthy and not so wealthy foreigners come here treated like VIPs while locals find it hard to even buy a car and house and raise children, especially the younger generation. Then when locals scold foreigners will kana lecturing by the ministers for being xenophobic or even worse kana locked up. Foreigners scold locals we locals must not fight back becos our pm says we must integrate with them to make them feel welcomed
