empty talks....

"talks to my good friend, if I can get more money."

"look at the original plan and see if we can reconfigure."

high chance will be unsuccessful.

can just talk to good friend to get more money, then other constituency how? if AMK LHL also ask for more money how? the budget only so much. you think MOF will cater to whole Singapore needs or cater to friend's request?

I do agree with WP on all the topics(cost of living, jobs, affordable hdb, etc) highlighted during their rally and my family initially supported them as well.

However, the inclusion of Palestine in their manifesto indicates that they're crossing the boundary between religion and politics. Singapore should just be a neutral country. We can send all the humanitarian logistics and assistance, but we shouldn't deal with the nonsense of getting involved and recognizing Palestine as a state
Respect your views. Things are relative and subjective.

To me, being neutral can be either entirely not being involved, including sending any sort of aids; or respect the co-existence. By not acknowledging the existence of both is already taking a side. I am not well verse in this area so apologies for any insensitivity.

That faraway diplomat issue is the v last concern i would have, and would focus things that is close to heart, things that impact me more: my preference of a more accountable government who dont push narratives, acknowledge mistakes, dont sweep things under the rugs, cone out with excuses not to do things, cooperative with alternative views, and not high up in ivory tower. Thats my dealbreaker, and thats the side im taking.

[Knocking on Doors]

The Workers’ Party has been conducting house visits in Punggol GRC for the past two years — and even longer in what is the now defunct Punggol West SMC.

I’m always deeply moved by the warmth and kindness shown by residents, especially during encounters like the one I am sharing in a video.

Of course, not every door is met with the same reception — and that’s perfectly okay. Please know that your concerns, hopes, fears, and aspirations truly matter to me, whether you support the Workers’ Party or not.

I look forward to meeting more of you.
