Does this show that new citizens can be a force against the pap if their interest is not met?

水能载舟也能覆舟。

PAP better wake up🤣🤣🤣
When they are reaping the benefits they are happily doing so. When it starts to turn against them, they’ll come up with new cheat codes again.

Just look at the grc system. for example. Now they know it’s becoming a double edged sword, when they lost Aljunied in 2011, followed by Sengkang in 2020. they start to reduce the size of grcs and increase SMCs.

And also slowly increasing the number of elected MPs in each election. There were 93 seats contested in 2020 but this year there are 97 seats up for contest. So even though if the opposition maintains their seats, this means the number of pap MPs actually increase in parliament.

what miw dun get is.....NTUC dun juz mean no trust union chief. Income was not a pte ltd that arise bcos of someone's private money. if it uses public money, public has right to ask for accountability. and that a foreign company stated they will get back their purchase money by taking from capital and thereby subjecting current policies to risks, policies that was the reason for creating Income in the first place........

Remind me of this…

:ROFLMAO:
Government has always been
open and transparent with Singaporeans
: Chee Hong Tat

I think stay on topic, my main gripe is this guy is only spurred into action when it concerns his baby ntuc

what has he been doing all these years? for someone who has led a social enterprise, is he not close to the ground to know that everybody is suffering?

and even then his opposition/resistance is only token - writing open letters is as good as doing nothing because there's no obligation to respond

who is safeguarding our reserves ?

the ex president Ong Teng Cheong wasn't given the details of the reserve he is supposed to safeguard.

LKY is no longer around.

MAS don't even able to access the Income-Allianz deal critically before it is made public and almost a done deal.

i srly doubt what about our national reserve . . . r in good hand.

if there is 1 or 2 missing zero, almost sure the public nor the president will not be made known.

Tharman was ex MAS chief

"He resigned as managing director of the MAS to contest in the 2001 general election as a candidate for the People's Action Party."

"Tharman served as Chairman of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) for 12 years from 1 May 2011 until 7 July 2023, when he was succeeded by his deputy, Lawrence Wong."

once he step down as president, who will know how much & where our national reserve is or goes to ?

1MDB case could repeat in Sg since no many ppl know about our reserve ?

only person probably LHL ?

Never forget about the Income incident.

It’s clear cut a case of making money for the income shareholders at the expense of everything else. How to vote for political holders who think this is a good idea?
Will they still care for their constituents if they stand to reap personal benefits not to do so?

The moment Singapore is in decline (such as in an economy downturn), they will likely sell Singapore to the highest bidder, rather than to try turn things around (same like what they do to NOL and almost to Income). And they will continue to personally prosper, while those of us suffer the consequences of being sold off.
