Sometimes small fry also gd. Less stress, less white hair, look younger . We live to enjoy not chiong to no life.
If u hv a kan cheong spider like my jhk lead ....it is indeed stressful...

Actually, I am experiencing something similar, but maybe because I am contract staff bah. The colleague that keep saying this is sorta stretching out her balance maternity leave (ie. claim 2-3 days per week, so effectively work less days per week for almost 3-4 months.)

My personal experience is they feel threatened so need to show boss they are still useful. But luckily, my colleague is not malicious lah. She just feel threatened cause the big boss keep want to throw the person back into ops rather than admin role.

Yes it is indeed very stress to work with such colleagues.

Any task, he will do.
When you started to do, he will say I do.

Another is he will say, : ‘’你放下, 我作我作‘"

literally , you hv no chance to do except the person on leave or you alone..

Your valuable thoughts please.
Actually ok. Especially if the person pay lower than you. You want chiong all including my plate sure. I take free pay even better.

Ever meet a boss, Mgr, lead, supervisor that is so skeptical that whatever you do, got error, first thoughts did you......,

Always assume you do wrong.
But most of the time, or 9.9 out of 10, the mistake is not cause by you .

What will you do?

it's a perception problem, need to work with them through constant feedback to change it, it won't be easy and will take a long time

at this point, might just be easier to up and change job

I encountered mamy times n usually I just ignore it
But sometimes, the way lead, Mgr etc ask is stupid n nvr use his pea brain to think before say out.

Feedback to get management process right.

When something goes wrong, project manager should have an SOP to look into it as a team and everybody take ownership even if for example on holiday.

All taught before, never or forgot to implement.
It is like say you do certain thing, suddenly eg software error. He started to question you did you do this or that?

Sometimes, such lead, Mgr really lucky that he is a lead. If not, he is rubbish bin.

at this point, if it's all 3 levels of management above you, then it may be better to just change job because it's quite clear theres a culture mismatch

you have no avenue for recourse cos it's your line manager and 2 levels above, next should be dept head?

no point kicking a fuss to rock the boat, just be on the lookout to go

U can reverse it. Make yourself the "problem solver".
Be the first to intervene and point out mistakes and always without fail, claim that u can solve it. It's all optics. And don't point fingers. Not even when you know who's really at fault.
This is how u manipulate people at work.

My lead is those who want to claim credit. Is those who por cow kuku until can carry the cow kuku on top of his head.
Any major thing, he very fast snatch n do, won't let u do.
To show others without him, coy collapsed.

But when people teach u when they really never teach enough...u ask them more questions boss think u stupid slow learner

Did you check with your superior why they said what they said or not?

Could be that you overlooked hints coming from them.
