Hopefully, the actual upgrade can be done before my departure date to Batam.

that's my understanding too as it uses 4g spectrum fpr NSA.. 5G SA needs a new SIM itself.. I am wondering Roam Eco / Power 5G plans are SA

Hmm..... Roam Smart Plan was 5G forever, but that got downgraded to 5G first 90 days.
Wonder if it is an error and if not, does it impact those who are already on this plan.

unlikely it is auto downgraded.. Did you request to change plan? If you overcharge check with the CSO nothing forumer can assist.

I got 2 lines on roam smart plans which is 5G forever during signup last year. Was thinking of signing up another line of roam smart but now it showing the default plan is 4G only.

I know that those on roam plus plan still on 5G even after 90 days. Selected roam smart as I don’t want to suddenly have the 5G cut off for roam plus plan as it is advertise as only 90 days free.


Also will my existing roam smart plan signed last year still be under 5G forever? If roam smart is now also default 4G after 90 days, might as well sign up of roam plus plan.

I will contact CSO to get confirmation.

just received the email from zym on the upgrade. Good move on the new upgrades. But actually, from 200GB to 300GB not really a big deal as most people don't even use more than 100GB.

i hope they can focus more IDD offerings and introduction of international data roaming. And perhaps start SG-MY 5G data roaming.

I did not make any request, I just happened to login and see my billing and found that it got stealth downgraded from dec 2024 onwards, don't even have any notifications from zym either

Yes WhatsApp. I always use WA to contact their cso. I just sent them at around 10am and pending for their reply.

Same. I signed Roam Smart because of the forever 5G since I ported in from eight. But when I checked the app today, mine became Roam Plus

For both my roam smart line also same. It shows as roam plus but if I click details, u can see all the information is for roam smart plan ( data roaming allowance, 5G ready etc)
