Yes WhatsApp. I always use WA to contact their cso. I just sent them at around 10am and pending for their reply.
Ok, CSO has replied.

For new signup / port in from non SingTel, will receive 5G for 90-day only.

As for my current roam smart plan which I signup last year, the free 5G will remains.

From cso:
you'll continue to enjoy free 5G connectivity. However, changing plans in the future may result in the loss of this 5G benefit. Therefore, we recommend you remain on your current plan to retain your free 5G service.

Same. I signed Roam Smart because of the forever 5G since I ported in from eight. But when I checked the app today, mine became Roam Plus 🤔
Yea, just noticed mine changed to Roam Plus on the app as well, although the entitlement remains the same as last month.

Reached out via whatapps to check, this is their reply :
"Hi, Please ignore any mismatch in the plan name displayed in the customer's mobile app for now.
We are currently assisting customers on the Roam Smart plan to upgrade to the new Roam SMART plan, which offers a better deal. This upgrade exercise is scheduled to complete by 15 May.
While this process may temporarily affect the plan name shown in the app, it does not impact the customer’s usage entitlements in any way.
"

They might as well give 2TB Malaysia roaming. Then market as the $7.70 plan. 🤣

Just sharing my experience...
I ported my Giga number to Zym to give it a try.
Port over completed. 5G data works, call and SMS works....until I realized Starhub user can no longer call my number. Will get a tone saying "The starhub number is not in service" when it was already a Zym number.
But my Zym number can call the starhub/giga number. It can also receive calls from Singtel/Simba line.

So I contacted support, and after some troubleshooting. (They take almost an hour to reply every one message) they say they have handed over the ticket to another team. Ever since then, they just ignore me if I ask for any update, totally zero and it has been a month now...and the issue is still there. Luckily it is not my main number.
Gonna port out after two months is up.

You can just go to the support center if that's urgent or not ... there's always an issues for people here and there, nothing is 100% guaranteed if any porting for any telco, even for Zym.

Mvno support is always known for not being the "best"

Good luck going back to wherever you are going.

No more 5G included permanently on new plans, they want an extra +$7 for that. $10.10 -> $17.10 plan, only 5G difference.
