History has shown that to win GRC you need a lot of showmanship (LTK with Aljunied and Jamus with SK). Faisal's team argubly Mike Thng doesnt have that amount of showmanship as the former 2.

I think even if he has, he no chance to show it in a debate, that's why CNA changing the format from a debate to a roundtable benefitted PAP

‘Goodbyes have to be said’: WP’s Yee Jenn Jong says this is his last election

With East Coast GRC going to the PAP, WP’s candidate Yee Jenn Jong said this is his final run to contest an election.

“Saying goodbye is always very difficult but at some point in time, goodbyes have to be said - and that’s for me personally. It has been a wonderful 15 year journey,” he said while choking up. Teammate Jasper Kuan gave him a side-hug as the audience cheered in support.

Mr Yee said GE2025 was a hard fight, much harder than expected.

“We just had to focus on doing what we need to do as candidates, and I think people can see how difficult it is for opposition to be in politics,” he said.

When asked how he would like to be remembered as a candidate, Mr Yee said: “I want to be remembered as someone who put his whole commitment into whatever I do."

PAP won East Coast GRC with 58.76% of the vote.

couldve just apologised and moved on, but that woke k had to go on yapping. if he hadnt whined like a little baby, i wouldnt even have known that the wakeupsg admin is contesting in my area and wouldve voted for him.

this little action prolly rallied all his k ppl to vote against sdp also. definitely had some effect to sdp on a whole

when that auntie apologise for saying k, there were c ppl saying to that auntie "its okay we forgive you" blah blah. it made the k ppl on scene really angry and they almost had a fight.

then this k person went on stage and add more fire to rally his fellow k ppl. if not for the drunk guy shouting to move on, this guy nearly single handedly start a racial riot - also, this is something he is really good at using his wakeupsg platform
