Btw i thought you have a Poco X7 bought for $269 right

Same same processor, this won't be much an upgrade

This Camera is slight bit better, but missing ois which your X7 1/1.95" imx882 sensor have, so their photo/video might trade blows depending on shooting what
Oh wah ur memory so good haha... I sold off the X7 alrd... now using M6 Pro... but I only test test add this phone to cart just to see the final total cost first nia...

Nothing phone2 pro is using Dimensity 7300 Pro right? It isn't much of an upgrade from 7300 is it?

Yeah all the dimensity processor suffix are just marketing gimmick they allow company to add to scam customer
Only real 1 is Qualcomm Snapdragon for Galaxy which actually are higher clock and faster

Kudos to Carl Pei for answering critiques on their newly launched phone...

Better amoled display than the Pixel 9a cos the latter uses a plastic amoled display? Wow...

Yeah, props to CP for being transparent than our MIW

That’s pretty impressive at this price point

Oh wait... according to here... it seems that plastic oled displays aren't considered inferior oled panels... there are reasons as to why phone manufacturers choose to use such oled panels... here's an excerpt from an article from Android Authority...

"While the first wave of OLED panels was built using glass substrates, the desire for more interesting form factors has seen manufacturers use more flexible plastic components. This is where the P in POLED comes from.
Glass is fixed and rigid, while plastic substrates can be more easily formed into new shapes. This property is absolutely essential for curved screens as well as foldable devices like Samsung’s Galaxy Fold series. Working with plastics is also much more cost-effective than glass"

Glass is glass. and glass breaks. plastic survives… ugly. also more prone to scratches, dents, and warping :s13:

No but according to the article, oled panels for phones started out being made of glass but now all modern oled displays on phones are made of plastic substrates and employ active-matrix tech.

The move to plastic substrates probably helped with flexibility and durability, especially for curved and foldable phones
