The earbud is the older one.
Probably not as well received as the buds 2 or buds plus.

Rather keep it as a spare or for rough use

Not sure about CMF
But Nothing earbud tiagong is very good
If that means they translate over their expertise to CMF then got chance it's very good too

Sekali Carl Pei sandbag again nerf their CMF earbud for no reason like their phone 2 pro no ois and single speaker

For the price, we can get Poco F6 or even Poco F6 Pro. So not sure if it is still worth to get this phone...

Unfortunately yes, even more painful knowing that Amazon UK allowed shipping the CMF Phone 2 pro in a bundle (with all 3 colours phone and buds 2) to SG few days back. But now that is geoblocked once the offical one sells. They gave Buds 2... the upside is they say there 1 more year of extended warranty. The only reddit post i saw on Nothing Singapore support said they're unresponsive... hopefully that's an anomaly.

If no need the improved camera or NFC
Phone 1 might be a better entry point, same cpu but better battery life

Not sure how good local price is on phone 1 now, but aliexpress or port from overseas amazon is quite cheap now

I checked the warranty t&Cs... warranty is only valid within country of purchase (valid countries only)

Just read this, too used to iPhones globally accepted warranty. In this case it a huge dealbreaker, no warranty even for a free buds 2 is not worth the compromise. Even if it’s Malaysia the time to go over and wait even for a secondary phone is an overkill.

Just started to use my cmf phone 2 phone pro. Got the whiite/grey one. Jin swee!

This phone took over a poco x3 pro
A. I didn't have problems with responsiveness so far.
B. Photos are brighter than I'd like, but at least can manage with exposure control.
C. Phone size (of 6.77") not easy for one hand usage. But I'm also preparing myself of a big phone later, eg vivo x300 or oppo x9 series.
D. Battery life, yet to fully test, but I guess phone needs a few charge cycles for processor to learn usage pattern.
E. The UI is nice, especially the home page customizations! I do wish though there is better control of dark themes for all installed apps. hyperOS came out top in this area for me, when compared with nothing os n magic os
F. Speakers were not as bad as I thought (coming from x3 pro)

If the speaker is dual speaker will be better. No idea why they put a single loud speaker instead. Maybe CMF Phone 3 will improve based on users experience and feedback.

Components n solutions are kept within a budget to sell at certain volume and profits.

I'm OK for a lesser speaker setup for the overall price feature set.
