heng ah, rarely need to come into office. i remember last time being stuck during train delays, it's not just the sweating and the fatigue of waiting and waiting. after all that shat, the real work starts once you get into office. my colleagues with car will jokingly ask me, "whats the issue? i checked the news, only 30mins delay. not too bad."... fishhhhh youuuuu!

ya, platforms very warm even when no crowding, should put/standby some more Industrial fans for such incidents.

Thousands of ppl stuck at serangoon circle line mrt

SINGAPORE - A train fault between Paya Lebar and Buona Vista on the Circle Line (CCL) has caused a delay of about 30 minutes, said train operator SMRT on May 20.

In a post on X, SMRT advised passengers to add 30 minutes of travel time to their morning commute.

Free regular bus services are available between Serangoon and Buona Vista.

Public transport fares should not be linked to service levels and disruptions: Chee Hong Tat

The transport minister was responding to a question about whether the recent East-West Line train disruption and service levels can be taken into consideration in the Public Transport Council’s fare review exercise.
