My personal favorite, 知否知否应是绿肥红瘦. The name might not sound great but I feel is one of the best 宅斗剧. Next you can try is 羋月傳.

宅斗剧 means those family feud aka wicked stepsister/ mother plotting against the protagonist. Nowadays kind of sick watching this genre. Always the same storyline.

I am watching 淮水竹亭 now.

So far, the plot is still acceptable to me. Definitely much better than Yang Mi and Gong Jun's 狐妖小红娘月红篇.

Nice lei..I just finished it..cannot wait for Cheng yi's sequel.. I didn't finish the one by Yang Mi and Gong Jun.

they cut a lot of scenes, like how the prince steal the city using the female lead. I don't know which city they first raided and lost. Need a map. And which dynasty is this, the male lead revolt? or its many kingdoms at war

Wah no need to waste so much brain cells on this as the 原著 is a 小黄书 at its best.
Surprisingly enjoyed this quite abit since I always hiam ML's looks in his period dramas.

the cast not bad.. many familiar faces...especially those HK ones.
rather simple plot... easy watch..
