Disagree. Defence minister is all about that strategy. Eloquence goes to minister of foreign affairs as that's where diplomacy is needed. Our defence minister can't be hollow like NATO (no action tok only) :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

He needs to come up with strategies to counter our adversaries, just like he did during GE2025. I heard he was the mastermind behind moves like assigning our DPM to Punggol — a decision that initially seemed questionable, but ultimately proved EDMW wrong :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

On the MP side, he's the strongest candidate since he's genuine and seems like a nice guy. Therefore, giving him the defence ministry is a no brainer since you need someone who's popular and won't be voted out anytime :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Diplomacy is foreign minister specialty. You don't have to be a good "showman" to be a great defense minister. The main job for the defense minister is to build and maintain an effective armed force for the country. Don't know about you but i still think an army general fits the bill better than a doctor.
If u really think a defense minister should play an important role in diplomacy, then where was Ng when the Malaysian vessel trespassed our waters last time? The famous sharp elbow retaliation warning, remember? :p

HDB will be interesting. Queueing for a good MOE primary school within 1 or 2 km about the same as queueing for Standard, Prime and Plus HDB flats for First Timers. 2nd Timers' oversubscriptions hotting up.
