DINK, SINK, Single, Family, all individual choice of life.
Some want partner, can't find. Some want kid, can't have.
IMO, worst are those who don't have stable job or with below average salary, married and can't afford BTO, have many kids. It's alright in LKY 1G era, but not today.

Everyone should just mind their own business.

They chose to be childfree is totally none of your damn business.
Must have decency to act very miserable on social media so the parents don’t feel jelly :(

DINKs act too song riao attract the ire of BBFAs and parents :(

They bo help country to produce future workers, then must tax them moar so that they are not financially better off than without a kid.
It also depends on how capable they are at raising children. What if they produce people like Ian Fang, Amos Yee, how does it do the country any good? Just because someone can be a parent doesnt mean they should.

There is no expectation for couples to have kids in the first place. DINKS are no more selfish than those with lots of kids.

Singapore's shared values

1) Nation before community and society above self,
2) Family as the basic unit of society,
3) Community support and respect for the individual,
4) Consensus, not conflict, and
5) Racial and religious harmony.

better than those who have a lot of kids then think society owes them a living.

everytime budget asking why no more incentives for those with kids... not enough childcare leave etc...
hello... you should be responsible after using your bird bird.... having kids is a personal choice... govt can always import new citizens...

so have more kids means heavier load on public services like hospitals and such so should increase tax till the kid starts contributing

If they don't feel like having kids, it is best not to.

Later everything taichi to the maid, end up just +1 another char siew to society.

Nah. Not selfish. Choosing not to have children (DINKs) is a personal choice that primarily affects only the couple.

Selfish is being an anti-vaxxer/ refusing vaccines. This one can cause direct harm to others and to society.

Being a DINK is an exercise of individual autonomy; thinking that a vaccine jab is Bill Gates putting wi-fi into your body is an irresponsible rejection of social responsibility.

Or one kid but go for many enhancement classes, tuition, holidays etc?
