Just an update, I tried many ways and failure to figured out how much are the transport charges and how to consolidate the few items from different sellers just deterred me from placing my order with ping duo duo.

In frustration,I just fire up the Taobao app, and within 15 minutes of setting up paylah express... I placed an order of a consolidated S$8.64 for my order! Ping duo duo requires payment of individual items and once they went into the warehouse, consolidate again and pay another round of transport charges, which is too complicated.

I think it's the interface of ping duo duo that's probably working for China or not overseas shipment to Singapore. For Taobao, it's similar to shopee, all the items are shown and the total cost consolidated together and transport charges for each items clearly stated... While I still couldn't figure out the complicated details on transport charges discount shear and there, I estimated I'm paying RMB8+ for shipment and that's good enough. I just make the consolidated product prices + transport charges. Period!

Let's keep my fingers crossed.

From Huawei app store and yes, it's in Chinese. The Taobao from Huawei is in English... and the total summary is converted to Singapore $ automatically.👍

you didnt choose the free rmb99 free ship item?

Those are pretty useless. The fine prints said free shipment only for the China portion. The fee from China ports to Singapore was unknown until all your goods are in the warehouse. So, that's unsettling and deterring me to pay. Once pay item by item, cannot cancel, what if they are inside the warehouse and the shipping is very expensive? The whole process is just not refined especially for overseas shipment.

Taobao on the other hand is so clear, all items consolidated with payment, discount for product, shipping fee, discount for shipping fee all listed clearly before one make a single payment. I figured I was paying RMB8+ extra for shipping from shop to Singapore. So I just paid the total of S$8 which was shown to me clearly, saving me another round of conversion in my mind... Now I'm waiting for it to tell me once the items are shipped.... Finger crossed, first time buying direct from Taobao.🙏

actually, once it reach warehouse...as long as all the items you consolidate have rmb99 (make sure you choose those that indicate rmb99 free ship to SG purple label), it's free ship. you only pay the gst la...

i already shipping 2 batches to sg now. both also free sea ship and pay the gst 9% only. my weixin pay didn't show extra charges.

Ok. I'll keep that in view. Let's see whether my Taobao will ship and eventually reach me. It never said anything about GST so far... Not sure what will happen when they reach Singapore... Let's see.🙏

If it is as u read, then its like TB de
"Consolidated shipping"
Buyer pays for product, cc fx fee and whatnot.
Seller ship local to consol warehouse.
Consol warehouse bills buyer again for M3 and weight to SG and SG gst, plus cc fx fee
If fee unpaid by deadline will be returned to seller address.

"Direct Shipping"
Will have all in 1x payment.

Caveat
Some item cannot use direct ship cos seller dun allow or other restrictions.

Try buying medical devices on TB or condom for fun, u see @coyote

Thats why alternative i set up a cainiao app acct, receiving a user specific consol address like what Singpost last time have for USA...

In other news - 1 item of my direct ship cart is slow at inland transit, so incur extra fees for shipping out of CN but platform pay the extra for it while the others enroute SG alr by sea.

Noted. Let's see how TB works for my case.🙏
