Correct if wrong. Think the contribution all have to give. Doesn't matter opt in or not. Opt in just distribute and split the money between the different accounts. If don't opt in, the money think all will go into Medisave only. So, either way they will still deduct the money out, difference is where it goes to.

No, the percentage deduction amount is different for those that didn't opt in (medisave only) vs those that have opt in (full CPF contribution)~ medisave is lower % deduction~

those that have opt in, there's a different set of calculation~ there's 5 pages of calculation shown in CPF as it increases from 2025 till 2029 vs 1 page of calculation for medisave contributors only~

There's another FEDA component (Fixed Expense Deduction Amount) for the above calculation and that's the type of vehicle used, bicycle, ebike/ motorcycle & car/van~ car/van will have a higher expenditure of 60%, ie. Gross earning minus the expenditure x CPF deductable amount~

Everyone said how great or good or responsible he is. Yes he may be a good father to his 2 children but he is irresponsible to all the other passengers he had driven and other road users. Luckily no accident due to his lack of rest as the most innocent ones are his passengers and other road users.
