The problem with BTC, is how centralised it has become. If a mining conglomerate owns 51% of hashrate, they can literally rewrite the rules (aka 51% attack). Foundry USA and AntPool combined hashrate is already close to 50% Liao.

And mining will likely become more centralised as mining is unprofitable.
