Why dont change it? Now using R32 gas, 5 ticks and u might save $$$ in long long run? If save $50 a month, u might save $6k in 10 years? If got $100 savings then it could be $12k in 10 years.

Mine is using R410A and 2 ticks Mitsubishi electric starmex, i dunno how long it has been as its from prior owner.

Anyone knows changing from R410A to R32 how much savings a month on ur usage?
1). If still working, just let it be:)
2). Piping running behind the wardrobe
3). My electricity usage roughly about 350-650kwh monthly only....still acceptable to me 🙏
4). If change, would like to get the Mitsubishi starmex

understood, if i were in ur situation also wont change due to the piping. Think one decade ago, i helped my relative change all her electric wiring for her system 4 toshiba aircon, main reason is cos the earlier contractor used poor quality wire and after a while, they frayed and easily broken, i had to used some tricks to pull the new cables thru the wardrobe by tying to the old cables.

maybe u can just get from fairprice? get Ajax floor cleaner or Ajax multipurpose cleaner?

Recently, i used that, compared due diluted sodium bicarbonate or diluted vinegar, i think undiluted Ajax is fine, i just spray and leave it for 10-15mins, followed by higher pressure washing.

Where you buy your high pressure washer from? And how much? I tried to check on taobao, but they mentioned anything that has high pressure in the product description cannot be shipped into sg via cainiao

The Bosch aquajet 100 lo, I gotta extra long Bosch water jet cables dunno 20 or 30metres from TB so that after connection, my water jet gun can reach all aircons n external compressor, the box cables not long enough. Alternative u can get wireless one that can suck water from pail which some bros here described earlier.

Does it reduce the pressure if the water hose which contained the pressurized water is long?

Save money in long term, i suggest people first time doing it, dont dismantle too many things, just take off the cover then wash... cover all the important electrical things with few plastic bags.

For external compression, best to spray at angle downwards, dont spray horizontally.

I removed my Daikin aircon cover to clear the stagnant water from the drain pan which was dripping down due to clogging somewhere and noticed that there's actually a drain plug on the left side.
Currently, the drain pan is using the right side drain plug which then requires a long horizontal pipe to run to the left side into the wall.
Wondering why the aircon installer didn't simply use the left side plug to minimize the drainage distance and avoid the long horizontal right-to-left piping which might be prone to clogging.

Perhaps to increase the probability of clogging to get business for cleaning services?

Anyway, I'm now considering drilling a hole into the PVC draining pipe that runs into the wall and have a short flexible tubing to connect up the left drain plug straight into the hole. Not sure if this there will be any risks involved.

Anyone have experience with anything similar?

The clogging nothing to do with the hole, either one works. Just use wet vacuum to suck the jelly

My thinking is that there’s lots of jelly along the horizontal piping.
Also, not sure how to access the right side drain plug on the right side for the Daikin iSmile unit.

I have been trying to use a brush to dislodge dirt accumulated in my FCU’s drum without removing it , but it’s very tedious. I saw some videos on Taobao that those foam sprays can be applied on the drum and then use water jet to clean.

It is safe to do so? I am using Starmex.

brush on on dirt is not enough, u need a surfactant. If u meant blower roller then u can simply use high pressure water jet, such as Bosch Aqua 100 waterjet.
