Malaysia housing can only rent, not buy.

this.. best to rent, don't buy. johor too many properties. even if you think future got opportunity, got hope. Unless you now 12 years old, don't bother. you will probably die before johor become successful.

That place till now I see also not a lot of people living there.

And it's so bad that the cinema already closed down n a lot of vacant shops in the mall.

But think it's still better than Forest City cause it's walking distance after custom.

Just came back from short staycation at phase 2 facing sea.. Not bad quite nice view but but it's like u find a chio chicken.. U fxxx n the sxx is great but u dun marry the chick to be yr wife..

Many risks, u can't exit, their law change like prata flipping. Their local cant afford buy from u. U need find the next carrot head.. Tell u a secret.. No local buy condo one.. Almost all buy landed.. Another ******* thing is they can refill land and extend n come out phase 6,7,8,9 n block yr precious sea view.. See those goondo who bought p1... The shopping center is more busier now(around 10% of shops open only) but is still a shitty place.. Their floor can have "hump" n uneven one.. Few time almost trip over.. The price we pay 70 per night.. Reasonable price.. Anything more not worth..

Forest city can rot lar.. Who in the right mind will buy there.. Extreme Dumbo will..

More n more Chinese brand shop open.. Can see some no business no worries can earn money wash things for syndicate..

G&G landed is too expensive for young couples now. Small new 20x70 terraces are selling at $800k+ (forex 3.3).

For reference, 15 years ago, one can get at $400k+ (forex 2.4).

They are buying condominiums instead. $600k+ can get a 3 bedroom unit.

The coastal strips near R&F phase 3 are earmarked for future reclamation.

That's why Malaysia land so big why reclaimed... Pls use a bit of brain cells to think... U buy for sea view.. U think they wun reclaim land and build again for next batch of goondos?

Please don't be too jumpy.

There is a maritime boundary that limits reclamation.

I am quite sure that you have made your money from Singapore property thus would like to continue this property “investment “ route.
Do remember that most if not all foreigners does not make money from JB property. Yes , you can have capital appreciation from the property but lose out on currency losses.
Quite a few of my friends make their money in sg properties and invest their money in Malaysian property.
Got hoodwink into developer rental-back scheme, waterfront development near Singapore….
Most of them are regretting in their investment and actively seeking out divestment.

as foreigner don't buy, rent

be it in Malaysia or Thailand even

I've asked a grab driver 2 months ago about their landed property prices. Told me around 300K RM and that's around KSL area
