If you want to travel around while staying in Johor, KSL is a great base for a staycation because it's super convenient. For shopping, Mid Valley is the place to go, but it’s not as convenient as KSL if you’re just staying nearby. If you only have a few hours in Johor Bahru, City Square is good for a quick visit.

If take grab or driving, mid valley, aeon tebrau, IKEA toppen, sutera mall not bad.

If take public transport, ksl is good enuff.

ksl is just by itself. alot of beauty salons (hair and nail)

mid valley has more shopping choices (different brands including lifestyle etc)

ultimately depends on what u want to buy or see.

City Square is nearer Sg so the price starts to kenna the "Sg field effect"

Went in recently for a brunch trip - makan at "Hua Mui", buy bun at Hiap Joo, eat Orh Luah then take bus back at ard 2pm - all ard City Square area
