That's why it proves that gahmen favor the hawkers, shop owners etc. Purposely put big denominations forcing people to buy more.

should just allow all participating stalls/shops to issue balance in cash? Eg chui use voucher to buy $7 of food, use $10 CDC Voucher would get $3 change in cash no questions asked!

CDC voucher is to help the hawker , not really to help sinkies save money, otherwise, they would allow us to use whatever amount we like, making spending slower

Buy zi char medium size one... confirm more than $10... unless they sell at like $8 or $9... my place one is those hokkien mee they sell cheaper than hor fun... more expensive one are those Hong Kong mee or Sin Chew Beehoon.
