should upgrade which one first?

Existing rig specs:
Ryzen 5 5600X
4060TI 8gb
1080P monitor
if upgrade CPU mean must change to AM5 motherboard, DDR5 ram = it's not just 1 component liao
if you are okay with med setting there really no point upgrading your existing rig.

TS for your reference.

Ryzen 5 5600 is actually still good, is bottleneck elsewhere especially your SSD.

i personally really dun think theres a big difference between 5000/4800 read/write vs a 7000/6000 read/write ssd for gaming

If I am like you, most people won't come to me for repair/upgrade cuz I think this no good that no good.
You have to try but see you got money why not get a Samsung 990 Pro 2TB.
Like I mention is not only due to read and write, controller and the NAND difference.

When I buy SSD I don't see price first I have to see what's the user usage.
if normal usage/light gaming than that SP SSD will do.
But for hardcore/high end specs especially to pair with RTX 5070 I will definetely configure my PC
properly with a decent SSD.

You have to try.

ok lets put it this way
after spending all these time in the hardware clinic, yes i already know TLC is faster better and lasts longer than a QLC
like i mentioned many times b4 if i have only 1 rig, definitely i would go get the best and price to performance products

if i have money to only buy say 1 porsche or buy 5 vans for 5ppl, i will buy 5vans for 5ppl~

and i not heavy dutyuser on editing or large files transfers, just normal casual gaming nia

5070 is mid range only right not exactly highend

I don't wish to argue with you.
When comes to DIY PC is best to play around.
I don't like your analog but some user like you.

Think lag must get the best GPU but still the PC lag.
You have to check is there any other bottleneck like CPU, RAM and SSD first.
Make sure your PC can handle.

Yes I know bro not arguing with you or say you.
Cuz I know some of my user are like you.
Always look at price first. :s13:

In my line always people bargain ask this and that.
If PC/game lag is always not about GPU, I know some upgrade the
GPU without considering other parts.

Worst case I encounter was a RTX 4060 Ti on a Intel i7 4790. :s22:
OMG king of bottleneck.
Some users are like that PC lag oh upgrade GPU only to make it worse. :s13:

It means users are not well educated on PC ecosystems and how they work in conjunction with one another.

But then again to be frank, most casual gamer only CPU GPU RAM and fans. Maybe RGB. The rest of the system specs to them not as important.

Until of cos they buy the PC then eh? How come not as fast or good as i expected?
