Social Enterprise...an altruistic way to make money
Haha, when they say monitoring, most likely is they r not going to do.anything. Just like vaping, they can stop it if they r more proactive few years back. They said will monitor, and see what is happening now? Even students r vaping. You meant monitoring. That’s what the govt likes to do and as you can see the action (or rather inaction) cascades down
Nowadays it’s everyone for themselves only and you die is your own freaking business! Not their money, the minister only worry about KPI![]()
who did the hawkers voted for???No one force them to rent..
Agreed. If timbre wants to help the poor, they should do out of their budget and not at the hawkers expense. Hawkers do the charity but timbre gets the fame?who managed timbre ?
is any MP involved in the group?
Maybe it's time to relook at whether MPs and Politicians can be directly involved in any company dealing with govt. If it is almost all, then so be it. You want your profits, you dont join politics.
Some can open and close every other day, sup sup waterSo many boon lay hawkers earn so much with sports car. Hawkers earns alot.
I think they are better at cooking, if they can fully understand the very long & complex contract, they wd be in the timbre board already.Amazngly the tenants signed it. Were they even aware ?
Again, all these are bw terms hawkers sign with open eyes.
Now using social pressure to wriggle their way out.
You just need to read 1 line.
"It's not the hawkers duty to feed the poor and destitute. If you cannot afford a meal, please see your MP for help."
Seetoh and his band of merry hawkers are equally the capitalist your hated landlords are.
Don't expect them to drop their prices simply because they pay lower rents.
