Near JB CIQ got kopitiam prices de food or not ah?

Only saw a few v old kopitiams at Jalam Meldrum. Anywhere else thats more new with prices like SG local kopitiam and not cafe prices?

I believe have … At Merlin towers and Jb CIQ itself , there’s a staff canteen where locals go there to eat …

Hmmm. I went Ipoh before. Had coffeeshop and its still well maintained unlike the ones in JB Jalan Meldrum(the buildings too run down and the coffeeshop downstairs also doesn't seem well maintained.) Looks abit not bright enough n bad ventilated.

Then just go Ipoh.

If u go up the connecting bridge from city sq to merlin tower, u can see a lot of prc women on tourist pass jioing people there for happy endings. Their police close 2 eyes... Jb gov really in a way 'ignoring' chinese welfare.

If this were to be in sg, only takes 1 day police all arrest atbs

If you want even cheaper (2-5 MYR), can buy a packet of fried rice or noodle from the stalls at the JB Sentral bus station. May be only early morning peak hours though, for example, 5 am. Or bread, kuih (minimum 1+ MYR), all hours.

Oh this one kombtar cc mall food court. Was there recently, quite quiet with only half of the stalls opened (all malay n one indian mamak style stall).

Opposite Komtar JBCC mall at Jalan Wong Ah Fook there are a few coffeeshops. Try there.
