| NEW: Newcastle United have canceled 45 tickets for their massively oversubscribed UEFA Champions League home clash with Barcelona after they were purchased by a school in Dundee, Scotland, 190 miles away, and they will be put on sale to supporters.

More than 110,000 Newcastle fans found themselves in an online queue on Monday for a scarce number of member-sale tickets to the match against the Spanish champions at the 52,300-capacity St James’ Park, which is due to take place on Thursday, September 18.

When it emerged that the High School of Dundee had received such a large volume of tickets, it caused uproar.
