Speaking of WTM, I just ate WTM at a random stall opposite KSL while waiting for Lotus to open~ the coffeeshop name is called KEE Dessert, only 3 stalls in it, WTM & BKT and drink stalls~

The WTM was cooked by non Chinese, either Burmese or viet, very polite service~ cannot hiam since the WTM was Rm9 while Ice Milo was RM4~ :s22:

I think this is the same WTM stall that someone here shared when it's quite new. IIRC across the road to the right of PMX?

I went to look for it from across on one of my last visits. Back then there's only the dessert stall with it, and managed by a local whom I think it's the owner himself. Friendly honest guy who made recommendations when he thought we could be ordering too much, when we wanted to try a few items at the same time.

Some reviews even said it's better than Yit Foh on the other side. That's back then... Worker took over now?

2 (IIRC) eGates coming back, at JB side, unless they've removed it since, for whatever reason.

The real pain is there, probably the only way to deter these 🤡🤡🤡.

Actually it is very easy and obvious to catch at custom right ?

That one ah bang (even non ah bang) who doesn't look like he is part of the rest of the family with a msian passport ?!

So I don't understand how there are people who still risk it ? The only chance of escaping is when the SG officer is asleep or giving chance but these days looks like officers' KPI is dependent on how many of such vehicles they are gonna catch per day.

Talking about IcA officers, can smell from a mile that some of their custom officers are vapers.
They should clean up of their own act before they have the audacity to catch residents.
It is true that when you point finger at someone, you are pointing 4 fingers at yourself.

There are people giving rides to friends and colleagues and neighbors, same what we do here. How to differentiate unless they simply detain for questioning and verification?

But it's good that they confiscate the vehicles once verified.

On the left of this photo, Kee Dessert~ probably same place as you mentioned but there's no more dessert stall~

Not sure the foreign guy is the worker or the owner~ there's another foreign lady assisting the guy~ when I made payment, she made a slight bow and said thank you~ I wasn't expecting it~ 🙇🏻‍♀️ 🙊

Yesterday witnessed one Malaysia registered MPV stopped at the woodlands check point counter for very long, they were heading to SG~ another CIQ officer cycle to the MPV and escort the MPV out~

probably the driver and his passengers were different nationalities~ even if the passengers were all msian and if the driver can't proof that they were friends, colleagues, relatives, neighbors, likely he was providing ride hailing service~

saw one TikTok, one of the driver taught other drivers how to get around LTA, CIQ officers questioning like to take few group photos in the phone and memorize the passenger names before crossing the borders~ LTA not stupid also~

I imagine it's nth more than a simple sql query against vehicle plate and passenger list.

If 1 same msian and dozens of sinkies come up it's obviously an illegal phv.

Then detained, and all ppl in veh individually questioned.
Officer will ask passenger if they hired illegal phv cross border, and remind them it's not a crime to do so, but it's a crime to lie to ica/lta officers in an investigation.
Aside from you who love msians and hate sinkies, most sinkies would not risk themselves to protect an illegal jhk driver 1.

Then the illegal jhk driver will kpkb say sinkie no spine, agrew b4 ride to say they are friends but chicken out, make them lose veh and ricebowl
I guarantee it is new sg are the clients.
To be effective, clients also should be punished with fine, stroke and jail term to truly End this unfair practice against sg PHV drivers

May be ICA / LTA should errect NOtice around customs like they did with drug trafficking to highlight so they won’t act blur..

I think there are a lot of obvious signs that can be spotted.

I guessed people will always keep pushing the boundaries, drugs trafficking will result in death penalty and we still get people trying to game the system. 😅

Don't make sense to punish passenger. The driver is expected to know the laws.

It's like pumping ron95. The onus is on the petrol station operator to ensure subsidised fuel is only sold to the intended customers. Vehicle owners should not be punished when it's the petrol station who sold them ron95
