just work and follow the path, easily CPF and saving gao gao... normally is those mix around with wrong companies anyhow spend. i know of friends 30ish already fully paid off HDB. (they did not even buy a car) and saving quite gao gao... somemore got gov flexi saving plan etc..

there is the other group, anyhow spend on vices, and "experiences" end up uniform career also cui, saving also dont have.. and have to leave the service.

unless one knows what they want, or super high flyer, probably can earn more (business owners, bankers, doc, etc) or those cannot leave regimental or follow books closely.

This will better support their needs, such as marriage and housing, at this life stage. The new SAVER Bonuses will replace the existing Savings Account and existing SAVER Bonus payment.

2. Full CPF Contribution. Officers will receive full employer and employee CPF contributions, in accordance to the prevailing national CPF contribution rates. This will enable them to accumulate more CPF funds earlier in their careers, to better support their housing and healthcare needs. With the move towards full CPF contribution, the existing CPF Top-Up Account will be phased out.

3. Increased Retirement Contributions. Contributions into the Retirement Account will commence from the 1st year of service, instead of the 7th year of service, and at an increased rate. The increased contribution duration and rates will help our Officers build up a larger reserve for their career transition upon retirement from the SAF. The existing Retirement Account will be renamed as the SAVER Account.

I think their regrets usually unnecessary. Not like they stood a high chance of making it to LTC anyway. Besides, these people are mostly EDMWers and everyone know EDMWers smelly smelly make 20K per month shaking leg.

biggest joke is he poly batch so dont knw where he gt his confidence from... many yrs later i go cbp area to fk a vendor then bump into him at lobby... from his dressing and his kakis can tell he still junior analyst this kind... he recognise me bt nv say hi... too cocky last time nw eat humble pie paiseh to say hi...
