I had a similar encounter a couple of years back. I remember vividly that I was taking the escalator down at vivocity to the basement level where the mrt was. I think people just alighted from the train. Holy moly, everyone was walking fast like ants. It was a bit overwhelming but I guess this is also what makes Singapore unique and interesting as well.
This is what I call jiao wei. Every morning got to squeeze in train and smell the chao sng bawu is interesting? Noted thanks

No money anywhere also hell. Still have to be 牛马. So, its not the place or the people, but the money, have or not. Local is heaven for the rich. That's why attract so many. :s22:
Not like that say one.

I already say before.

If you can be in top 1% income and net worth wherever city you are in then life is good. Not hell for sure.

Erm, top 1% and no money are two different bah. Already said its no money. Want to bring in money compare like irrevalent. Got money go where also about the same. There is a reason why local high and escalating cost of living and strict rules are a hell of sort for ordinary people but heaven for the 'rich' people.

What is "rich"?
Just be the top 1% in the city you live sure considered rich.

You have to be the top 10% of the 1%. For example, ong beng Seng, eduardo saverin... etc. If they go US or China, they are nothing. If they are in sg, they are simply something, different.
