I had a similar encounter a couple of years back. I remember vividly that I was taking the escalator down at vivocity to the basement level where the mrt was. I think people just alighted from the train. Holy moly, everyone was walking fast like ants. It was a bit overwhelming but I guess this is also what makes Singapore unique and interesting as well.

Think crowded is the norm for local bah. Don't like then either stay up in own home don't go out, or move to other places countryside where there is little people. But not necessary there will have as much opportunities bah. Given the lesser population.

For city is always more crowded one. Worse is local is a city state, lagi more crowded. And local population density have always been one of the highest. Worse is the rapid increase in foreign population making it even more crowded. Its the land of opportunities for those from lesser places.

yes.. too crowded in singapore..

nowadays take escalator also need queue up even if taking the right side and climbing up

before the escalator even finish clearing the next train come already again ..

Told you guys that life in sg with no car is BRTUAL but many disagreed.
