just finished the series.

total 9 epi with around 55+ each epi.

notable cameo appearance: yvonne lim (lin xiang ping) and brother of christoper lee

starting is good...focus about 2 grieving mothers whose daughters are forced to be confined at a scam call centre and eventually ended up with 1 dead and 1 in coma. after the crime boss was executed, they felt that the law does not really gave them the justice that they seek. they somehow manage to discover some black magic witchcraft thing that can revive a dead person for 7 days and decided to proceed with their revenge plan

along the way, they intro more characters who are helping the 2 mothers and slowly link their back story to explain why they have the common goal of seeking revenge on the crime boss.

toward the later epi, it started to have too many twists and turns and it felt redundant tbh. at 1 point, the series even try to make the crime boss the hero/protagonist.

in the end they never reveal who exactly is pong. he took the crypto wallet and seems to be working for some mafia/gangster.

final scene is a cliffhanger whereby the daughter who is in coma finally woke up and it is revealed and confirmed that she actually has been working with the crime boss from the start and has ambition to replace him.

i think the moral of the story for this drama is that human are very complex. everyone is not simple. victims might not actually be a real victim and there is a reason that lead to their current 'plight'.
