just finished the series.

total 9 epi with around 55+ each epi.

notable cameo appearance: yvonne lim (lin xiang ping) and brother of christoper lee

starting is good...focus about 2 grieving mothers whose daughters are forced to be confined at a scam call centre and eventually ended up with 1 dead and 1 in coma. after the crime boss was executed, they felt that the law does not really gave them the justice that they seek. they somehow manage to discover some black magic witchcraft thing that can revive a dead person for 7 days and decided to proceed with their revenge plan

along the way, they intro more characters who are helping the 2 mothers and slowly link their back story to explain why they have the common goal of seeking revenge on the crime boss.

toward the later epi, it started to have too many twists and turns and it felt redundant tbh. at 1 point, the series even try to make the crime boss the hero/protagonist.

in the end they never reveal who exactly is pong. he took the crypto wallet and seems to be working for some mafia/gangster.

final scene is a cliffhanger whereby the daughter who is in coma finally woke up and it is revealed and confirmed that she actually has been working with the crime boss from the start and has ambition to replace him.

i think the moral of the story for this drama is that human are very complex. everyone is not simple. victims might not actually be a real victim and there is a reason that lead to their current 'plight'.

Actually i don't understand why now a days chinese film maker they make movies especially overseas type they like to fiction the language or country. I see like got thai language speaking then like got duno what language speaking. Sibei confusing. If they film in Thailand as background why can't just adopt all the thai style
yes... its obvious that it is Bangkok... i understand that they use a fictional city name due to sensitivity issues... but i dun understand why the police talk malay :ROFLMAO: is it cos Shuqi character is supposed to be from KL?

No lah. I can't stand movie plot is like 4th world country. Duno which parallel universe they from sia. I need the world or country that can be related to us. If they say ok the plot happens at Thailand Myanmar or Cambodia i can relate better.

sensitive mah, if they refer to BKK, later tio shoot by Thai gov lol probably even bar the drama totally to be screened in BKK netflix.

they should standardise the language spoke to just Thai other than chinese, dun mix malay inside.
