For me, only Dona and Verbena are worthy
I love the Dona’s walnut cranberry sourdough loaf. The crust is harder than most.
This is exactly why I prefer it as it makes us chew on it longer which is better for health.
My choices at Verbena are the blackish sweet potatoes buns, tuna buns, Japanese volcano filled with 2 types of cheese, something like Babarian which has cream cheese, garlic buns with cheese, Portobello mushrooms buns etc

Sat early morning or early afternoon less crowd.
Just left Zhuan Yuan Ipoh hor fun at Bukit Indah disappointed.
The prawns ain’t fresh.
Last week was the same. Inexcused I heard then they were
Closing for 2 faysto travel to Ipoh to stock up coffee etc.
But now that they are back, it should be new fresh prawns.
I won’t go for the prawns shredded chicken hor fun anymore.
But my hubby said the pork ones is still good :
Marinated well with no smell of pork.
only the authentic Ipoh coffee and pork hor fun stays good.

2 nights ago, we went for Hong Gor fish fillet steamboats.
Also was disappointed by the not fresh fish fillet.
I don’t know is it with rainy season and flooding, seafood is short in supply and therefore f&b seafood isn’t fresh.
