Sorry lor. I tested myself and prefer the image processing on x300p.

And my battery mileage on find x9 pro is not very good. Am unsure why. But I have no regrets changing over.

To me, both are good phones. Just which you prefer more

but i cannot deny x300p photos looks the most pleasing to most after phone's processing, but to some its more artificial and it seems to swing towards ppl saying Oppo is the more natural looking output pretty consistantly

And what's the reason?

I'm asking cause how is it that you can find the x9p the better camera? I'm guessing and hope you have an objective on this stand.

The oppo has a overall slightly better camera specs out from Op15. But the overall image processing wise it is slightly above the op15. But to say you can't find a reason to hoot x300 pro without a reason???

tbh i just feel Oppo needs to optimise the output and AI processing, it has alot to improve with the more impressive (give and take, bigger aperture F2.1 ableit slightly smaller) tele image sensor size

for me my reason considered valid ba(?), coz i already have the x200p and even though i like the X300p output as well, i can live without it with a smaller bump on x9p and hoping Oppo does stuff to the camera processing in the long term. Those, and also that i alr just bought both OP15 and X9P. Also i dun mind with similar OS too coz i really personally like OxygenOS/ColorOS

erm.. I didn't say fx9p has better cameras.. but yes.. no doubt x300p has better specs.. but I find the fx9p a better camera package for me as it suits my needs better cos I mainly take these 3 type of pictures..

1) Macro. the fx9p has closer min focusing distance so I can get closer to my subjects and the larger aperture gives it a nicer background blur
2) Daytime photos. the default 50mp gives better details most of the time when it kicks in in day time
3) Portrait and pics of my kids. I prefer the color tuning on human subjects for oppo and the 4k live is an added bonus.

on top of these 3, I also said earlier I really like the color tuning and minimal processing on master mode as well as all it's color presets and the flexibility to adjust all the different settings.

I almost totally don't take night photos or long range photos. if I do then no doubt I will think x300p is a better phone for me. so this is why I say I can't find a reason to change. cos despite the better specs, it doesn't suit my needs as well.

this is exactly why I switched from fx8p last year to the xm15 for it's cameras despite fx8p having better camera specs as fx8p doesn't have telemacro.. so the xm15 is a better camera for me.

Both vivo and oppo are good phone but vivo photo processing is more pleasing to the eyes. I see that some ppl said oppo photo is more natural but why would u want a natural photo? I believed every pro photographer would enhance/edit their photo esp for events or wedding for a more nicer look for their clients and portfolio. Even if u post to social media u also want the photo to look good.

Photo are meant for people to see, not keeping in drawer. When people tell u your photo look very nice and are very impressed. U will get a satisfaction feel. If your photo look natural, same like what your eyes looking at, u wont get the kind of satisfaction from other people.

subjective preferences, similar to how ppl like white carrot cake more than black carrot cake, while black i believe is the more popular of the 2.
Vivo's processing imo is abit more contrasty/punchy/abit too much sharpening that some may not prefer. Maybe more ppl prefer this way but doesnt mean its for everybody. To them it may look abit too superficial

like what you say.. professional photographer will edit their photos.. having more natural and accurate colors will provide a better base to start editing.. hyk provided a very good explanation on this..

at least for me.. I take photos for myself to see and for my own memory.. I no need people to tell me my photos look good to feel good.. no need validation from others to feel good or satisfaction..

if to my own eyes the photo don't look good no matter others say how nice I also won't feel good ma..

I’m considering both the X300P and the OPX9P, but I’m not sure how I’d fit the X300P into my jeans pocket without scratching the camera since it’s so large. The Oppo seems to fit better.

have a go at the demo units at retail outlets like challenger/courts so u can have a feel in person. Some can live with the bump (i actually could but still never gotten coz i alr had x200p wihch is good enough for me) but others couldn't

Diff perspective i guess. To me, a phone camera is snap and go thing. The photo needs to look good after u snap and not look natural and then go edit later. Photo taken from a phone need to be ready to use and need no further processing.

For someone who likes photography, he will hone his skill further to make the photo look even better. But how do u know the photo has improved? This is where u need to show them to people, on social media or even forum, be it criticized or praised or simply see how many likes u get. The photo is not for showing off. Taking photo and for ownself to see will lead to no improvement coz your judgement is always the same. Having a hobby without improvement is dull tbh. This applies to every hobby.

But of coz maybe natural is consider beautiful to u. This is why i said diff perspective.

Just watched this video. I'm glad i watched this over MKBHD. I didn't watch MKBHD one as he is way too bias.

mrwhosetheboss is so much better with array of android phones, vivo, oppo, redmagic
Mkbhd is so embarrassing, his wallpaper app was closed recently too
