yes. unless you only interested in opening up your browser.
if not, most programs are programmed and marketed to windows machine or apple machine.
if you enjoy spending your time finding alternatives apps (and usually end up a disaster) ..
or you enoying tinkering with the machine (UI or cmd prompt) just to get something done...
and then waste a few hours when you could have just gotten straight to the work or entertainment or whatever you are doing.
linux is for IT people and probably data scientist only .. it's a very niche use case.
