Since it’s a public location, an alternative is to report through the OneService app.
But honestly, it feels like whoever gets assigned the case there just wants to close it quickly.

Email reports don’t seem effective either, especially if everyone treats it with a “bo chup” attitude.

VivoCity falls under the Radin Mas constituency, and the email details can be found in the provided link.

Ok great will monitor IMDA response and before trying other avenues.

As if other network will have no issues during morning peak hours in MRT

After experiencing multiple different services (including the trial Singtel 5G+ Priority line), I've come to accept that mobile network will have good days and bad days in peak heavy traffic areas.

Feel free to keep jumping networks if not convinced LOL
About 1 year back I was under M1 CORI one of their Sim only plans, did not face any issues during Mrt peak. Only maybe certain underground blindspots like e.g Braddel certain spots.

I thought it is only a MVNO issue. Since after that i only tried 8 4G and 5G.

Probably depends on your expectations.

Peak hours North South Line (especially around Orchard MRT station) is probably one of the most difficult places for all the mobile service providers.

Singtel SIM Only 5G+ Enhanced or Priority plans may indeed be much better but they may still got issues.

StarHub's new 5G Unlimited+ and 5G Platinum plans may also be better (need to see some reports here)

M1 Bespoke SIM Only plans may also be better (need to see some reports here).

Reference from SingTel SIM Only plan thread that SingTel 5G+ Enhanced Lite plan at S$19.25 (CIS offer) was much better than VIVIFI 4G (as expected).

Happy to report that the 19.25 plan worked rather well during this morning peak hour ride 830-9. I was able to listen to radio, read news article, Reddit, received WA. Connection broke between Bishan to Braddel which require a manual trigger to restart radio. Just leaving orchard, connection went down for like 10 secs but doesn’t require manual restart (it auto connect back).

these are vast majority improvements than compared to vivifi where I could not do any one of those single item above.

IMHO.
Yeah.. Eight ish no good. 🤣

Good or no good all depends on use case and expectations.

I will keep my eight 4G S$8 plan because of the one for one S$88 top-up offer. At the effective price of S$4 per month for 22 months, cannot complaint much. It is good as a backup and also for roaming (free voice roaming, can upgrade to the S$15.28 5G plan for better roaming bundle when needed).

My main line is Singtel SIM Only S$15.28 plan which is pretty good for local usage but not so good for roaming. For example, I need to pay S$18 for China roaming with 6GB data. Voice roaming is super expensive at S$5 per minute.

If without the top-up offer from eight, at S$8 per month then I may cancel it after a while. Then I will just get SIMBA S$12 prepaid plan or Shopee eSIM for occasional roaming needs.

For people using single main line with eight 4G plans (including S$5 Senior plan), you may really moderate your expectations.

Same for CUniq 4G plan, which is also using StarHub 4G network and has the same congestion issue.

Same for SIMBA. In fact I feel eight 4G is slightly better than SIMBA 5G/4G for local usage.

M1 Maxx 5G and CL 5G are better than eight 4G and SIMBA based on my testing. To me they are also better than SingTel hi! 4G plan.

Then SingTel S$15.28 plan is better than Maxx 5G and CL 5G.

Take note I usually do not take MRT during weekdays, only weekends. So my use case is probably simpler. Still I can feel the obvious differences among the above plans I tried.

I guess you cannot get the best of both worlds.

Previously M1 Cori local was good, I had 2 lines price 16++ and 17++ PM, Data passport was also good but expensive for the convinence.

Then i chanced upon 8, anyway good or bad am stuck for a year due to the 88+88.

I mean peak hours slow is ok, but completely no network damn pissed la. That was also the reason i ug 8 4g to 5g. now 5g also same problem

Unfortunately, we must gradually suck thumb and accept detoriating services, locally and or internationally.

If M1 was good one year back, dosen't mean they are still good now. They are also effectively sharing the same infrastructure as Starhub.
You can try getting a new M1 line, so you can keep your existing one, and try if it's acceptable for you. Then once you are done, can just port that M1 line to Singtel and see if the premium MNO experience is worth the cost.

Let's not count the singtel recontract plans (15 SGD+) that some users are on as they tilt the scale towards favouring singtel MNO

Just want to point out this plan is pretty easy to get now.

You need to pay one month S$40 SingTel SIM Only Enhanced Core plan. After that you can recontract to the S$15.28 SingTel SIM Only Plan (12 months contract).

Yeah it was completely non usable during Mrt peak, thus i switch to 5G eight.

But iffy la, 1 week maybe 3 or 4 days work fine, other 3 days not working.

Damn it I reckon their top up 1 for 1 promo got catch one, cause network only half the time workable so they breakeven.
does 5g help during peak

Yeah I agree it might be different now.

Guess have to trial and error till you hit the sweet spot.

I saw the ST MVNO complaning that some got charge hefty or dubious roaming voice calls.

Sorry I might be missing out on something . What exactly is the benefit of cmlink if I’m going china compared to maybe buy a $6 eSIM on shoppee with 10gb ?

Yes, definitely frustrating there's no network while commuting to work. But such is the situation when travelling at peak hours in crowded areas.

My experience is that some days will be better than others. So it's really depends.

But if it really don't work out, you can try getting a secondary line but there's also a good chance that it will be just as shietty..

Are you on 5G as well?

Yes agree some days peak Mrt 5G works fine. There are still certain areas blindspots but that is normal i guess and no complaints.
