Algo trading did have a pathway towards profit.

the gold trade was itchy hands manually trading + the past 24 hours has been brutal.

so I made my biggest mistake which is to look at my algo.

which I will try to do the following
to master the self control to not look at it.

even if there isn't trade for weeks.

what was the greatest learning is actually the hedging and I will spend the time to refine the code and simmer on how to better integrate into my Algo.

as my Algo is about 91% win rate optimized. so the hedging will actually help to defend that 9% that goes south if well implemented.

the hedging is one of the skills that I've never had to hone until this event.

and I am humbled and thankful for this wisdom and lesson learnt.

It'll be thoery until it turns around.

But also the hedging plugin (running seperate from main Algo)

Generated over 30k of gain in 24 hours, whereas the Algo only able to generate about 100 avg per day. Albiet lost it all in the end due to the gold wick upwards this morning again.

Albiet rough and crazy but it may be a discovery to further enhance win and reduce underwater risk

Was up 44k and then the sudden 10.15 dump wiped out my position even with hedge it got stretched beyond it's means.

What an adventure. Down -67k altogether

Not Algo per say but manual trade.

I really need to figure out a way to not hands itchy and touch Algo
