tsmc within 2% of 2t cap

software selloff continues .... pain for my msft :frown:

data centre plays are going lower due to the proposal to make them commit to current and future electricity grid upgrades ......... literally force them to takeover the aging system when they currently don't have enough money to build data centres (issue bonds and take a hit on their stock price) , limit their growth
this is the only thing keeping their economy in growth , decelerate it will have problems
Don't need to even listen to news. Even monopoly TSMC refuses to increase supply for AI even with much greater margins and revenues, because:
1) Lot of capex from TSMC side.
2) What if AI bubble, then they kanna oversupply
3) Need to be sustainable, datacentre building is a decade level stuff, speculate so early for what.

flash have 6 players , everybody greedy want to produce more to earn more .... the only cap is AI demand must run faster than their factory output growth

china side ... tiagong from youtube video they growing output by more than 25% per year .... got state subsidy and political support ..... if western equipment suppliers no tech embargo they can grow at even higher rate

I don't dare to buy , because remember the phrase "too many cooks spoil the soup"
China vendors have different problem, high capex low margins (due to lousier tech/less optimised tech), but they should be the counter against memory speculation, already seeing China DDR5 ram in Sim Lim liao.

Recently many youtubers including Adam Khoo mentioned power and electricity is very important to AI and many power-related stocks are still sleeping.

So, I bought Sembcorp. Still less than 5% unrealised gains but at least better than mister loser's BYD

I thought there was some bad news or sort which I wasn’t aware
apple siri (gemini) delayed to september

trump admin proposal for data centers to pledge $ responsibility for electrical grid upgrades current and future .... the reward is "federal fast track permit" ......... that means if these companies act blur no pledge means their permit delay lorrr !!!!!!!!! best solution is just build the power plant beside their own fence or build data center beside power plant .... direct link with shortest distance of transmission cable
electrical grid is old ... before all these AI data center it's heavy strain during heatwave and winter snow ...... now just nice got rich companies they got targeted to shoulder the cost of upgrade , anything fail they take the blame .... milk the cow

STI has successfully broken above 5000, marching towards it target of 10000.

With so much liquidity pumped in by the govt and family offices, it is not wonder it is the best performing index in SEA.

SGX has finally broken curse that STI is the worst performer in the past decades compared other SEA bourses.

Buy SG stocks to ride the wave to 10000.
