Nice. The second deal for 3Gbps mesh at S$39.70 per month is in line with previous offer at S$39.90. And you get the S$50 NTUC Fairprice voucher. This is a decent offer.
Dreading the thought of having to waste time seemingly begging them online, I went to 313 and got this offer.

Thanks to all your sharing here, at least I know I didn't get carrot-ed. :o

(Got to go shopping at the same time too.)

Nowaday don't come with Prime video or Disney plus ?

It depends on the plan and offer.

Some examples:

1. New home offer
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/broadband/eform/newhomes
Up 5,000 yuu Points (worth $25) - exclusively for NEW sign-ups only
12 months of Broadband Protect (U.P. $3/mth)
3 months of Amazon Prime (U.P. $4.99/mth)
6 months of HBO Max Standard or 5Gbps/ 10Gbps Plans only (U.P. $14.48/mth)

2. New user offers (also for recontract but very lousy recontract offer)
1) https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/broadband/eform/10gbps
Up to 10,000 yuu Points (worth $50) - exclusively for NEW sign-ups only
12 months of Broadband Protect (U.P. $3/mth)
12 months of Amazon Prime (U.P. $4.99/mth)
6 months of Disney+ Premium (U.P. $22.98/mth)
6 months of HBO Max Standard (U.P. $14.48/mth)

2) https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/broadband/eform/5gbps
5,000 yuu Points (worth $25) - exclusively for NEW sign-ups only
12 months of Broadband Protect (U.P. $3/mth)
12 months of Amazon Prime (U.P. $4.99/mth)
6 months of HBO Max Standard (U.P. $14.48/mth)

3) https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/broadband/eform/3gbps-plan
2,000 yuu Points (worth $10) - exclusively for NEW sign-ups only
12 months of Broadband Protect (U.P. $3/mth)
6 months of Amazon Prime (U.P. $4.99/mth)

3. Recontract offers
1) Special offer at S$29.90 per month -- not easy to get though, good offer. You may negotiate with SingTel to get other recotract offers if they do not want to give you this offer.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/broadband/eform/recon-edm/5gbps
12 FREE months of Broadband Protect subscription (U.P. $3/mth applies thereafter)

2) https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/broadband/eform/recon-dm/fibre-10g, not good offer
12 FREE months of Amazon Prime (U.P $4.99/mth applies thereafter)
12 FREE months of Broadband Protect (U.P $3/mth applies thereafter)
6 FREE months of HBO Max Standard (U.P. $14.48/mth applies thereafter)

3) https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/broadband/eform/recon-dm/fibre-5g, not good offer
12 months of Broadband Protect subscription on us (U.P. $3/mth applies thereafter)
12 months of Amazon Prime subscription on us (U.P. $4.99/mth applies thereafter)
6 months of HBO Max Standard subscription (U.P. $14.48/mth applies thereafter)

Today I went to Causeway Point Singtel Shop to terminate my Singtel Tv Selection (Free) subscription and return the equipments. Casually asked about what is the best recontract offer for my Singtel 2gbps plan which is due in May.
The best offer I got from Whatsapp with Singtel few days ago was $39.70 3gbps plan with x2 HB611.
At first was offered the same plan. When I asked abot the $29.90 plan, straightaway they offer me the $29.90 5Gbps plan with x1 HB611. I recontracted straightaway on the spot.

I tried the $29.90 recontract link but was rejected. Later asked through Singtel WhatsApp but no $29.90 plan available to me then.

Good move, to try different Singtel Sales channel like 1688, WhatsApp and physical shop.

On the other hand, many users may get tired with this activity every two years and just leave Singtel.

Singtel has anyway lost the #1 position in Consumer Fibre Internet market share to Starhub.

If you are want to leave Singtel, I will recommend either Starhub or M1.

Recontracted, pending NetLink Trust inspection this week and Singtel's ONR Installation next week.

Sounds good that you all managed to get better deal at Singtel shops. I try to go down to Singtel shop to enquire for new prices as my contract is over like 2 years. (1gbps plan)

And funny thing they give me the 3gbps at over $50 which I was surprised, and when I asked them how come when I call the call center there's some special pricing, they tell me that is the call center team special pricing and say I can go to them, as Singtel shop don't have have such special deals. 😂 Wondering how come got such hack care attitude service from Singtel shop, and but from here service seems different than what I encountered.

In the end I called back call center and take up their offer, the $39 plus and 2 routers. Had wanted to cancel Singtel but no choice, elderly likes the land line and is adamant about digital line or other. Even give mobile also don't want to use it happily .

Which Singtel shop did you go? Not one of their authorized dealers instead of their own service centre, right?

The call center number is 1688? For the $39 is 3Gbps or 5Gbps? I received singtel sales team also offer me for $48+ for 5Gbps for 2 routers.. But I nvr agree.. Want carrot me damn

We are loyalty customer and yet more expensive than first time applying customer. Don't understand their logic sometimes.

Just the other week was at a friend's place when some people came knocking and asked if they're using Singtel BB.

They asked how much they're paying and that they could maybe offer a better price. Even wanted to know what setup, etc.

Friend just told them no need, still under contract. Main reason also because of a previous visit (don't know from the same team or not) when they claimed all neighbors on their floor already installed whatever they're offering. Stupid idiots were turned away on the spot coz we knew a couple of neighbors who're either relatives or family friends who've not been living there for a while.

This happens year after year, nothing new. Thus there're people who choose to leave.

I also had to sit at home to wait for the ST tech to come change the setup when recontract from 1 to 3Gbps.

I know the feeling. :s13:

That is actually a decent recontract offer from Singtel now, if you have to stay with Singtel.

We are loyalty customer and yet more expensive than first time applying customer. Don't understand their logic sometimes.

This loyalty is in general no use for telcos in Singapore, no matter you are with Singtel, M1 or Starhub.

1. Starhub is probably the best among the big three in this aspect, they tend to give pretty decent recontract offers for Fibre Internet, or at least allow existing users to sign up as new users and help the transition. You do need to know the prevailing offers and not to use the website pricing as the gauge for the real recontract pricing.

2. For M1, they will give recontract offers to select users. If not, the price for recontract is much higher than new users.
https://www.m1.com.sg/home-broadband

M1 3Gbps -- new user at S$32.90 per month, recontract at S$35.90 per month
M1 6Gbps -- new user at S$38.90 per month, recontract at S$47.90 per month
M1 10Gbps (without router) -- new user at S$34.90 per month (S$30.90 physical shop offer), recontract at S$39.90 per month

3. Singtel also gives target offers to select users. If the targeted offer is not good, or no targeted offer, you have to talk to Singtel to get the offers. You need to know the prevailing recontract offers -- if not you may happily accept higher price...
