Always got the top specs ones for longetivity, and yes, noticed such situataion since F7 series.
I recalled F7 series having 1TB variant too but OOS after launch, now the same for 512GB with the F8/X8 series too.

Impossible for budget range 1tb variant to be launched in sg..

For sure the SOC is a bit faster and the AnTuTu score is also higher for Poco F8 Pro compared to Poco X8 Pro Max.

You are looking at X8 Pro Max or X8 Pro?

X8 Pro Max price wouldn't be cheaper than launch for at least 4 to 5 months later. The 512gb version has limited supply to begin with.

X8 Pro price does drop below launch price at least 2 times I observed so far.

Better pricing at Shopee. And typically nowadays the best pricing is not during major sale. Major sale has the good pricing which is available for most people. The best pricing typically is when you have the special % off electronic voucher from Shopee during non major sale times. Because typically Xiaomi will reduce their shop vouchers during major sale and give bigger shop vouchers during non major sale period.
