Just to confirm with the POSB Everyday card holders. I saw this clause at the website..

Cash Rebates not applicable for 0% Instalment Payment Plans, wireless terminals, bill payments and internet transaction.

So if I buy something on the internet..I cannot even get a 0.3% rebate??

Citibank M1 card is offering cash rebate as well..but not many ppl talking about it though. Guess not many M1 users here. :o

They too have this clause..

"Bonus Cash by participating merchants are not awarded to online transactions."

Anybody can confirm that internet purchase from non-participating merchants can still get a 0.5% rebate??

i cant answer ur qn, maybe u can call Citibank?

if u have M1 citibank CC and Dividend CC, charge to M1 CC is better as it also earns 0.5% cash rebate. The food thing is that u can use it to offset ur M1 bill.

hi just wanted to clarify something with the experienced folk here

so topping up of EZLink using UOB ONE card qualifies you for the cash rebate right?

how about online topping up of CASHCARD using the UOB ONE card? do i still qualify for their cash-rebates if i meet all of UOB's criteria (ie $800 per month expenditure, >3 transactions a month)

my dilemma is that, i spoke to a CSO at one of their branches and they told me NO. But when i called up their CC Helpline, they said YES....

also, are there any potential pitfalls of using the ONE card for such purposes?

Thanks for the replies:o

im interested on how can u top up the EZLink card using cc? Last time there were machines in some of the mrt stns which u can do it but last i checked it was removed. Are they back?

until dec 2009..

I just received my SCB Visa Platinum card early this month, however I applied it through the internet, they didn't mention anything about cash rebate. Is this cash rebate only applicable during those roadshows or through their sale team??

I only know of 2 ways...get the new card reader for the cepas cards and top up online or go to the Ezlink website to link your card to your CC. It will do a auto top up for you. In both cases there will be an extra charge of $0.25 .

So it's confirm that Everyday card does not give cash rebates for online transactions?? The rebate from the M1 card can also be used to offset your CC bill like Everyday card.

Guys, let's see this plan is going to work or not

1st month - Charge everything into UOB One Card, says 800 dollars.

2nd month - Use Ezlink Auto Top Up facility link to the same card and Pay UOB 1st month bill 800 dollars at 7-11. So 2nd month balance is still 800 dollars

3rd and 4th month also pay previous months' 800 dollars.

Will this going to work for 80 dollars rebate ? sounds crazy. UOB is not so stupid to let this happen right ?

any updates on this ? :)

1) Thanks for the clarifications :) Apparently we can choose to top up via cc manually too.

2) You gotta call DBS to check as i hardly do online transactions using cc :o Paisey, cant help much.
